2021 is a year that we’ve been patiently waiting for; a revival of ourselves, a refresh, a reborn. We are all ready to dominate this year.
We all try to start a new diet or fitness routine. While others take on a home renovation or quit a bad habit. 2020 definitely prepared us for the uncertainty. So how do you plan to accomplish those goals without letting fear and doubt get in the way?
We’ve put together 3 ways to help you get started on accomplishing your new year's resolutions.
- Creating a vision board is a great way to start. It allows you to display somewhere in your home or office where you can see it everyday. This will keep you focused and driven to accomplish your goals.
- If you feel like the vision board has never been your thing, having a timeline where you meet a deadline can help you accomplish your goal(s). A great example is wanting to run a half marathon. First step is signing up for it. Next step is planning out your schedule. There is a lot of training that comes into play for this, so being mindful of how long you have and what you need to do to accomplish that half marathon. Leading up to that goal, you have to train or work hard for it, therefore setting yourself an end date can help encourage you to get there with a timeline.
- For those who are trying a new diet, and need help getting started, I highly recommend doing your research on what your new grocery list will be. Also, once you narrow that down, just make sure to clean out your pantry and fridge. We all have our bad days where we break the routine and go back to a bad habit so getting ahead of it before you start will set you up for success. Also, I encourage you to have a buddy who is doing the same diet. This can help with accountability.
